Obituary
Sam was called home while to be with our Lord on June 28, 2018. He was a Patriot, a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. His favorite time was spent in prayer and meditation, ministering to others, and always seeking someone to bless. Sam loved serving the Lord, fishing, cooking, dancing, and entertaining relatives & friends with his sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents Anita Martinez Moreno, Jesse Moreno Sr. and his sister Gloria.
He is survived by: wife Sylvia, children: Sam I, Sam II, Samantha, Rudy, Joe A. (Sylvia), Heaven, brother Jesse Moreno (Monica), along with aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and his grandchildren.
His life reflected so much love, compassion. peace, joy, and kindness. His presence and gentle spirit will be dearly missed.
There will be a Holy Rosary Thurs. July 5 at 7pm at Guardian Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held July 6 at 8:30am at the Corpus Christi Cathedral. Burial will follow in the Coastal Bend State Veterans cemetery at 10:00 a.m.Services
