Corpus Christi, TX
Ruth Zepeda Orozco, age 84, reunited with Our Heavenly Father on January 23, 2014. Ruth was one of ten siblings born in Bay City, Texas, July 4, 1929, to our late grandparents Guadalupe and Lina Zepeda.
Ruth touched and influenced many lives as a daycare teacher, granny for kids volunteer and retired YMCA infant caregiver. She will be most remembered as a 'Mother'.
She is survived by her husband, Antonio Orozco and preceded in death by Monce Flores, her eldest son; six surviving sons, Tony (Linda), Marshall (Lita), Michael (Helen), Rene (Rosa), Eric (Socorro) and Mark (Angela); three surviving daughters, Yvonne (Frank) Castillo, Terry (Marce) Lara, and Yvette Ruth Vaughn. She has two surviving brothers, Paul Zepeda and Isaac Zepeda; one surviving sister, Martha Guzman and many loving grandchildren.
Ruth is now precious in His Sight and forever more a star of righteousness. She will leave behind a 'Legacy of Love' and in turn will be loved and missed by many.
The family would like for you to join us in fellowship and remembrance of the life of Ruth at Solid Rock Worship Center, 3035 Ayers Street, for a one time service on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m.
