He is survived by his siblings, Blanca Rivera, Diana Lucchese (Jim), Daniel Rivera (Ylda), Lisa Mayorga (Daniel), and Julie Salazar (Frank). Ruben is preceded in death by his parents, Enrique and Esperanza Rivera and two brothers, Henry Rivera and David Rivera. Through Rubens faith his family is brought comfort in knowing he has been reunited with them.
