Roy DeLeon, father, grandfather, uncle, son, brother, and friend, passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 61. He was born on January 5, 1963, in Crosbyton, Texas, to Jesus G. and Terry O. DeLeon.

Roy had many interests and talents. He was an avid fisherman, an artist, and a gifted ball player. You could always find Roy by the water, or working on a project.

He cherished his parents and fathered five children—Brittany (Ivan) Casas of Alice, TX; Christopher Ellis of California; Jessi Lee (Robert) Cardona of Austin, TX; Rozie DeLeon; and Logan DeLeon of Corpus Christi, TX. He was also a grandfather to three grandchildren, Ryan Casas, Braiden Johnson, and Rozalee Ramirez.

Roy is survived by his loving parents, Jesus G. and Terry O. DeLeon, as well as his siblings: John DeLeon, Jerry (Melissa) DeLeon, Louie (Christina) DeLeon, Lisa (Gene) Perkins, and Tammy DeLeon, all of Corpus Christi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

Roy is preceded in death by his brother, Jesse DeLeon Jr.,  his paternal grandparents, Francisco and Aurora DeLeon, and maternal grandparents, Mauro and Tomasita Olivarez.
