Mr. Rosendo V. Castillo, Sr., went home to be with the Lord on November 16, 2015. He was born in Falfurrias, Texas on October 30, 1936 to Jose Castillo and Hortencia Villa Castillo. He served your country proudly in the United States Army. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his children, Cecilia C. Johnson, Christina Castillo, Norma Linda Castillo, from Houston, Texas, 2 sisters, Raquel (Humberto) Silva of Kingsville, Texas, Maria T. Barrera,from Falfurrias, Texas, seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2015 at Guardian funeral home chapel B with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 1:00 p.m. Graveside services with Military Honors will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Coastal Bend State Veterand cemetery. 9974 IH 37 access Rd.
