Obituary

Rosa Maria "Rosemary" Salinas was called home by our Lord on December 3, 2020 at the age of 71, after a long fight to stay here on Earth. She was born in San Diego, Texas but resided in both Corpus Christi, and Houston, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her father Antonio P. Cruz, and grandson Paul Anthony Salinas.

Despite the loss, her family knows she is now rejoicing in heaven. Her loss from this Earth is also her greatest reunion with Our Father. There was never a limit as to what she would do for the ones she loved. She always knew the value of hard work, earning everything she received. Rosemary had a generous soul that was always ready to help family and friends in times of need. In 2013, she had to take a break from work and everything she loved to do in life due to her health, but she still continued doing everything she could for her family.

She had a great love for those who called her mom, Wela, Tia or simply Rosemary. She loved to travel and make priceless memories. It has been extremely difficult to see this wonderful woman leave her early world, but she is an angel among us now leaving behind so many treasured memories for her family and friends to treasure for generations to come. We thank our loving Father in heaven for allowing Mom to be in our lives for as long as she was. Forever Missed; Forever Loved.

Rosemary leaves behind her daughter: Judy Rose Salinas; two sons: Ambrosio Salinas III and David Rene Salinas, three grandchildren: Briah Cimone Salinas, Alyssa Nicole Salinas, David Anthony Salinas and lastly, one great-grandchild Olivia Grace Galvan; along with many family and friends that loved her very much.

The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thanks to everyone who has reached out with kind thoughts, phone calls, prayers, donations, messages, texts, and any gestures of love in our time of grief. Very special thank you to all the special people that have helped with her services, you are all in our hearts. Thank you and God bless you always.

Public Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday, December 14, 2020 at Guardian Funeral Home with Holy Rosary to be recited at 11:30 a.m., with a Chapel Service to follow that morning.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
