Rosa Ena Garcia was born in Kingsville, Texas on October 30, 1944. She was 78 years old at the time of her passing on June 7, 2023. She passed peacefully at her home in Corpus Christi after a long battle with liver disease.

She is survived by her Spouse Mario Garcia, Child Steven Garcia wife Laura, Grandchildren Lauren Garcia, Steven Gabriel Garcia, and Christopher Hurtado, Brother Roy Garcia wife Connie, Sister Rachel Garcia, Sister in law Cynthia(Gary) Poole, Nieces Michelle Almendarez husband Pete, Stephanie Almendarez husband Jorge, Friends Maggie and Bill Pickering, Eme and Mauro Perez, Rose McKenzie, Juan and Rose Zamarripa, Annie and Alex DeLuna and other numerous others.

She is preceded in death by her Parents Octavio and Victoria Garcia, brother Roland Garcia and wife Nona, nephew Andrew Garcia (wife Carmen).

Always in our hearts, always our angel. Our wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, Our Momo. As you prepared us for the inevitable, letting us know of your last wishes, we struggled to accept your passing but find comfort that you'll be listening from a better place, peacefully…We miss you dearly! You offered us so much of your Love, time and effort helping us shape our lives to what it is today, we greatly appreciate everything you did for us and we'll never forget. You truly had a tremendous impact on our Family we will Love you forever.

Rose loved to cook, sew, arts and crafts, especially when it involved her grandchildren, and enjoy family gatherings. Her eyes lit up when talking about her grandchildren and family in general. She loved us. She worked at numerous places throughout her career, including Sessions mortgage, Bealls, and Dillards here in Corpus Christi. She made many friends throughout her life and had many good memories of them that she shared from spending time with relatives at the "ranch" when she was a little girl to dances and outings she would attend with her Husband Mario.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 9am with a Chapel Service to be held at 12 noon
at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Coastal Bend State Veterans cemetery 9974 I.H. 37 North Access Rd.
