Rosa Montoya Cristobal, 70, went home to be with the Lord on December 9, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Houston, Texas on August 30, 1944. Rosa was preceded in death by her mother, Alberta Fuentes, and a brother, Eduardo Fuentes. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Jose Mercede Cristobal, her children, Daniel (Dolores) Montoya, Jimmy Montoya, Sylvia Montoya(Lynn), Mercedes (Mary) Montoya, Esmeralda (Audie) Tacito, Jesse (Edna) Juarez, Blas Juarez, Jessica Lopez, 19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, she also had 10 living brothers and sisters. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Guardian funeral home chapel A with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2014 at Guardian funeral home. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery
