Rosa Maria Arizola, age 84, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025. She was born November 16, 1940, in Corpus Christi, Tx to her parents Jesus and Leonor Borrego.
Rosa was a member of the Ladies Auxillary VFW Post 2397. Her dedication to service was evident in her long-standing membership, where she not only contributed her time and energy but also her heart. Rosa's involvement with the Auxiliary was more than a commitment; it was a reflection of her deep respect for veterans and her desire to make a difference in the lives of those who had served their country with honor. Among many of her joys, she loved to dance, play bingo, and shopping. She was a loving mother and grandmother, leaving them with sweet memories and a love that will forever be in their hearts.
Rosa is preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Leonor Borrego, her husband Jose Arturo Arizola, son Robert Arizola and three brothers, Jesse, Luis, and Charlie Borrego.
She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Arizola, Suzette Arizola, and Mary Grace (Michael) Garcia; grandchildren, Cassandra (Roel), Samantha (Mark), Ashley, Britney, Anita (Frank), OJ (Allison), and Mike (Melody); great-grandchildren, Antony, Christopher, Serenity, Jeovanne, Royce, Syniah, Izabella, Valentina, Laylah, Asaiah, Mark Jr., Amira and Adrienne; brothers Raul and Ernesto (Delia) Borrego.
Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 16, 2025 at Guardian Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. followed by shared memories of Rosa Maria's life. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 8:00 a.m . at Guardian Funeral Home with the Funeral procession to depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m . Funeral Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church on Rojo/Arlington St. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery 2731, Comanche St. at 11:30 a.m.
