Ronald Joseph McCarthy, Jr, passed away peacefully at his home in Corpus Christi, Texas, on April 14, 2025. Ronald was the beloved Husband of Yvette McCarthy and cherished Son of Ronald J McCarthy, Sr and Janice M Roger. He was the devoted Brother of Tammy McCarthy Brownsberger (Jeff), Darren P McCarthy, Terry McCarthy Walsh (Ben), and Giselle Reynier Sauter (Brandon). Ronnie had many nephews and nieces whom he loved with all his heart. Known affectionately as Ronnie, he had a deep passion for music and was an exceptional Guitar Player, which he began playing at the age of 9 for his Church. His love for entertaining throughout his life, brought joy to all who heard him play. He always would say that seeing just one person dancing to his music, made it all worth while. His wife, Yvette, would like to express her heartfelt gratitude to Enhabit Home health and Hospice Services for their compassion and unrelenting devotion towards Ronnie through his difficult time. Thank you to his Private Hospice Nurse, Connie Sue Gomez, for her physical and emotional support to Ronnie. Also, thank you to Ronnie's Sister -in-Law, Lisa Hicks, for her 24 hour care, for Ronnie. We are going to miss his presence, laugh, and beautiful twinkle in his eyes. We love you, Ronnie, and will see you again in The Kingdom of God.
