Rolando Paiz Solis, 70, passed away on September 11, 2022 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He was born on November 7, 1951 in Hale, Texas to his parents Ernestina Paiz Solis and Roberto Solis.

A beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend is now at rest. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was awarded both the National Defense Service Medal and a Good Conduct Medal under his Honorable Discharge. Rolando was truly a family man; always ensuring the ones he loved were taken care of. The wonderful memories he leaves embedded in our hearts will bring us strength, happiness and joy for generations to come.

Rolando is preceded by his parents Roberto and Ernestina Solis, along with three siblings: Robert Solis, Richard Solis, and Olga Alaniz.

He is survived by his children: Crystal Rose Solis (Roger Banks), Robert Roland Solis, and Benito Sandoval, Jr. (Raquel); five siblings: Sylvia (Phillip), Donna (Gudalupe), Lucy (Ermis † ) , Belia (John), Samuel (Rebecca); five grandchildren: Andrew Banks, Emily Banks, Courtney Sandoval, Briana Sandoval and Benito Sandoval, III; one beloved great-grandson, Oliver Sandoval; along with a host of extend family and numerous friend who loved him dearly.

Interment with Full Military Honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Rd.

A Celebration of Life will follow immediately after at 2321 Division Rd. Corpus Christi, Texas 78418 (Flour Bluff)
