With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rolando "Rolo" Restrepo, age 55, of Corpus Christi, Texas, who went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2025.

Rolando, known affectionately as "Rolo," was truly a friend to everyone he met. He had a rare and beautiful gift for connecting with people, and it often felt as though he knew everyone – and everyone knew him. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and joy, and his smile could instantly light up a room. Wherever Rolo went, love and kindness followed.

A devout Christian, Rolo lived his faith not just in words, but through action. He believed deeply in serving others and would sacrifice anything for his family and friends. His spirit was humble, and his love for others was unconditional. He saw the good in everyone and treated all people with compassion, grace, and respect.

Family meant everything to Rolando. He was a devoted and loving husband and father, whose guidance, strength and unwavering love will continue to shape the lives of those he leaves behind. His legacy is one of faith, selflessness, and a life lived fully for others.

Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, those who knew and loved Rolo find comfort in knowing he is now at peace, embraced by God, and reunited in eternal life. His love, laughter, and example will live on forever in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.

Rolando is survived by his wife Nina Restrepo; his five sons, Patrick, Kristopher, Austin, Ethan and Ryker; his grandchildren, Nayelli, Zayden and Sylas; his mother, Carmen Restrepo; his brother Alvaro "Nacho" Restrepo; his niece Marissa; and his nephews Elias and Brandon. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvaro Restrepo.

Rolando "Rolo" Restrepo will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Services will be held at River Hills Baptist Church, 16318 FM624 Robstown, Tx on Monday, January 12, 2026. Visitation will begin at 11:00am and a Church Service to start at 12:00pm with a Reception to follow from 1:00-2:00pm. Then departing in formal funeral procession to the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery for a 3:00pm burial.
