Roland A. Guzman, 70, passed away October 8, 2017.  He was born on February 13, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and was a faithful member the American Legion Post #364, and proudly served in the Honors Team.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Catarina Guzman, and his wife, San Juanita Guzman. He is survived by daughters, Kimberly Guzman, Nelda Garcia,  Sandra, Anna and Renee, son, Rene Glover,  and numerous grandchildren.  Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2017 at Guardian funeral home chapel "A" with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.  A Funeral procession will depart Guardian funeral home on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church 710 S. 19th. St. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.  A Reception will follow at the Guardian Hall 5813 Ayers St./Carolyn.
