Obituary

Roger Dean Sutton, 67, of Corpus Christi passed away surrounded by family on September 7, 2021.

Roger was born in Denver, Colorado to Carl and Helen Sutton.

Roger was a musician that could play whatever instrument he put his hands on. He loved motorcycles, music, art, skydiving, fishing and being with his family and friends more than words can explain. He showed so much passion about the things that he loved.

Roger taught so many people what it was like to be kind, caring, compassionate and forgiving. He stood up for what he believed in and was never scared to say how he felt. He was a true friend and a born leader. He made an impact on everyone he met.
Roger was also funny, charming and gave the word stubborn a whole new meaning.

Roger is survived by his daughter Lisa Degeyter and her husband Chris Degeyter; grandchildren: Kenyon, Kylei and Bentley Degeyter; brother: Ken Sutton; sisters: Beverly Neisner and Brandye Speakman; many nieces and nephews and more friends than you can count.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Helen Sutton, his son Scott Lewis and many friends.
He will live forever in our hearts and will be missed beyond measure.

A Celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 13, 2021 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will be in the Richland Springs Cemetery in Richland Springs, Texas.
