It is with great sadness that the family of Roger Garcia, Sr. announce his passing on August 12, 2021 at the age of 49.

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to his parents Robert and Beatrice Garcia on April 24, 1972.
A beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Although it is impossible to sum up such a wonderful life in only a few words; one would describe Roger as a generous, hard working man, that was devoted to his family. His main goal and objective in this life was to ensure his family was well provided for and taken care of. A perfect day for Roger was to have family and friends gathered around, either barbequing and cooking or simply enjoying the sunset on his front porch. It was the simple things in life that brought him happiness; like watching the Dallas Cowboys games, fishing and golfing.

To say he loved his children and grandchildren is an understatement; he spent countless hours in their presence bringing them happiness and joy. It is often said one would give the shirt off their back to help another in need; this was true for Roger; never did he hesitate to help even a stranger; no questions asked.
Our hearts are broken to lose him; but his great legacy will live on for generations to come.

Roger joins now in heaven his brother Robert Garcia.

He leaves behind to cherish these memories; children: Racquel Garcia (Eric Leal), Roger Garcia, Jr. (Michelle Johnson), Ryan Garcia (Sara Farahnakian), Raymond Garcia (Nikole Perez), Steven Garcia (Madeline Quinton); parents: Robert and Beatrice Garcia; grandchildren: Ayden Ryan Garcia, Scarlett Rose Garcia, Ariana Danielle Garcia; siblings: Roberto Jose Garcia, Mario Antonio Garcia, Gina Marie Garcia; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he loved.

Public Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
