Rodney Patlan, Sr., 49 lost his 7 year long battle with cancer on April 28, 2015 with his loving family by his side. He was born December 19, 1965 in Corpus Christi, Tx. Rodney worked for the Hoffman Company for 25 years, a job he loved and was considered as family. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Virginia Patlan, his sister, Debra Parr, brother, Chris Patlan. He is survived by his beloved wife Lillian Patlan, his 3 daughters, Kandi (Manuel) Valles, Daisy Martinez, and Denise Martinez, 5 sons Rodney, Jr., Anthony, Michael, Isaiah Patlan and Angel Martinez, 6 granddaughters and 1 grandson, his brothers Raymond (Elisa)Patlan, Jr., Mariano (Lisa) Patlan, sister, Glynis (Gus) Reyes, numerous nieces & nephews. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at Guardian funeral home chapel "A" with an evening service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held May 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Guardian funeral home chapel "A" with burial to follow at Memory Gardens cemetery.
