Robin Ann Funk, nee Counsell, 53, of Corpus Christi, TX passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017. She was born on September 22, 1963 in Belleville, IL.

She was a loving wife and mother who cherished her family. She loved to read, and would often get lost in a good book or movie. Robin loved animals and cared deeply about their rights and welfare. She also dearly loved this country.

Robin is survived by her husband, Rhett W. Funk; sons, Tyler Blassage-Funk, and Logan Denby, both of Rockford, IL., Zach (Ben) Krnavek of Corpus Christi; grandsons, Kingston and Jace Krnavek of Corpus Christi; daughter, Ginni Brown of Austin, TX; mother, Donna Reynolds; brother, James R. (Rick) Counsell, also of Rockford, IL; and her 'Dad', Lester Wagner of Rockford, IL; as well as her aunts, and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Funk; and sister, Debra S.
