We are sad to announce the passing of our mother, Roberta Rose (Tribble) Jones on Sunday evening at the age of 81. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were with her as she left our world.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Harrison Jones.

"Bobbie" as she was known to all was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Howard and Johanna Tribble in 1943.  This is where she completed school and began her family.  The family moved to Rota, Spain for five years.  In 1974, moved to Corpus Christi (Flour Bluff) where she completed her family of five children and later retired.

Mama leaves behind daughter Angela Jones (Edward) Meza of Cypress, TX, son Lewis Scott Jones of Corpus Christi, TX, daughter Cynthia (John- deceased) Fowler of Tomball, TX, daughter Victoria (Mark) Kading, of Converse, TX and son Kenneth H Jones Jr of Ft. Worth TX.

Mom's (aka) Grandma leaves 14 grandchildren, Katherine Zost of Houston, TX, Ashley Meza (Craig)-Pennell of Bastrop, TX and Robert (Waldron) Archer of Pearland, TX. Timothy (Cailee) Thornton of Winona, MN, Savannah (Sammy) Scott of Corpus Christi, TX, Alicia Fowler of Tomball, TX, Lauren (Chase) Potter of San Antonio, TX, Johnny (Elle) Biesemeyer of Minneapolis, MN, Jaclyn (Joseph) Robles of Georgetown, TX, Lucy Shaw of Converse, TX, Lola Shaw of Converse, TX, Kenneth H (Emmelee) Jones III of NAS Whidbey Island, SeanAnn (Taylen) Jones of Waxahachie, TX and Christian Jones of San Antonio, TX.

Great Grandma leaves behind 11 Greats with 2 more on the way.

Bobbie has two sisters, Margrete Murphy and Cookie Faircloth of Bartlett, TN and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mother loved her family and her many pets.

Public visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Service to be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
