Robert J. Kenney went to be with the Lord on November 21, 2018 at the age of 92.

He was born on May 10, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan. He lived in West Bloomfield, Michigan and in Traverse City, Michigan after retiring from the Auto Industry for Chicago Pneumatics/Atlas Copco. He resided in Corpus Christi, Texas his last 3 years to be cared for by his daughter Kathy K. Capetillo. He served in the U.S. Army and was a World War II Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Angeline M. Kenney, and his daughter Kathy K. Capetillo and husband Simon Capetillo III. A quarter of his remains have been placed in a columbarium wall at the Coastal Bend State Veteran Cemetery and the rest of the cremains will be laid to rest with his son Michael P. Kenney at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.
