Robert L Hernandez was born May 14,1941 in Austwell, Tx . On April 10,at age 75 he peacefully passed away at a nursing home here in Corpus Christi Tx. Robert  was a chemist in the oil refinery industry for many years. He had also been a teacher with several of the local school districts and enjoyed officiating at basketball games and umpiring baseball games. He is preceded in death by his parents, Santana Hernandez & Eluteria Lerma Hernandez,two brothers:Gilbert  & Raymond Hernandez. He is survived by three children:Robert Z Hernandez of Corpus Christi  Tx,Rene Hernandez of Austin Tx, Raquel Hernandez of Palm Harbor Fl. & two sisters Carmel Coats of Ok. &  Beatrice Morales of Rosenberg Tx.

Rosary will be prayed for Robert at 12 noon on  Monday, April 17 th , at Guardian Funeral Home.  A Mass will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, April 19 th , at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.  Robert will be laid to rest in Tivoli Texas, with his parents.
