IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert "Bobby"
Graham Carter
October 17, 1961 – September 5, 2022
Robert Graham Carter (Bobby Carter)
was born October 17, 1961, to Jack L. and Kathryn J. Carter in Corpus Christi, TX. He went to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 5, 2022, after a long illness in Corpus Christi, TX.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Neikam Carter: his children: Austin (Monica), Chelsea Williams (Tim), Elliot (Denna), and Jack; as well as five grandchildren (Sterling, Verity, Justice, Ryan, and Noa). He is also survived by his parents, Rev. Jack and Kathy Carter; his siblings: Kelly (Pete Hansen), Jack R. (Kim), Gigi (Jim Mathews), Kristin (Rev. Dave Lescalleet) and many adored in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bobby was a beloved entertainer around the Coastal Bend community, playing guitar and singing in the area regularly for over 30 years. His goal every night was to help people relax and enjoy their evening out, reminiscing over old favorites from the acoustic folk music era.
He loved his family and sought to pass down to them a love of music and the outdoors, love of country, and finally, a love of God. It became very important to him at the end that, above all, he wanted to tell others that he had finally come to a lively and confirmed faith in the Lord Jesus, and that Jesus is worthy of their trust as well.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 2 p.m. at City Church, 4425 S. Staples St, Corpus Christi, TX 78411. It will also be live-streamed at the City Church YouTube channel. A GoFund.Me has been established at Final Tip Jar .
