Robert Montemayor Garcia, Jr.

Robert M. Garcia Jr, 72 passed away August 30,2014 after a short illness. He was born on July 29, 1942 in Kingsville, Texas raised in Corpus Christi.
He is preceded in death by his father Roberto Garcia Sr. , mother Mirta Leal, step father Aurelio Leal, sisters Magdalena Garcia, Rachel Leal, and brother David Leal Sr.
He is survived by his two daughters, Linda Garcia of Beeville, Josie Villarreal of Houston, numerous grand kids and great grand kids, sisters: MaryLou (Raile) Ybarra, Yolanda (Tino) Trevino, Rhonda Orta (Mike) of Corpus Christi, Velia (Natlio) Ontiveros of Odessa, Lorraine (Richard) Hollingsworth of Midland, brothers: Roy (Felicitia) Leal, Oscar (Delia) Leal, Jimmy (Delma) Leal of Odessa, Ruben (Linda) Leal of Midland, Abel (Ginger) Leal of Corpus Christi, and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Robert enjoyed watching his Spanish novelas and watching his nephew Joe Hernandez on the Fiat commercials. He will be dearly missed by his sister Yolanda and brother in law Tino Trevino who were his care takers. Special thanks to Dr. Mayra Propst and staff at San Rafael Nursing Home.
Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Holy Rosary and Celebration service to begin at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
