Robert Michael "Rob" Barrera passed away at the age of 34 on Monday, August 7th, 2023. Though he is gone, he will definitely not be forgotten.

He leaves behind his parents Janie and Bobby Barrera, his sister Charli Breanne (Michael) Columbus, Aunt Yolanda Reyes, and his partner Olivia Gomez, all who loved him more than words can express. He is also survived by his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many close friends who he considered family.

Robert was everyone's friend. His wide array of passions introduced him to the people he not only considered friends, but family. There was no limit to what Robert was interested in, whether it was gaming, guns, food, and oddly typewriters he enjoyed it all. But his main passion was always his job. Robert and Wings n' More was synonymous. He loved the restaurant and was proud to be a part of its continuous success.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Brenilda and Jose Barrera, his maternal grandparents Charlie and Lupe Reyes, brother Richard Allen Barrera, as well as numerous aunts and uncles.

His family would like to thank Wings n' More Restaurant, owner David Brimhall, as well as the staff for all their kindness and support during this difficult time.

A Memorial will be held on Thursday August 10th at Guardian Funeral Home , gathering will begin at 10am and Chapel Service will be at 12:30pm . Burial will follow at Robstown Memorial Park at 2pm .
