Rita Yguerabide Hinojosa, 91, passed away April 30, 2013. She was born in Laredo, Texas on April 16, 1922 to Juan Yguerabide and Julia Rodriguez Yguerabide who preceded her in death, She was also preceded in death by her husband, Martin Hinojosa, brothers and sisters, Juan Yguerabide, Lucio Yguerabide, Tomasita Torres, Josefina Yguerabide, a daughter, Rosario Patel, son, Juan Jose Hinojosa, grandchildren, Daniel and Adrian Hinojosa, Michelle Lira, great grandbaby, Isiah Rosales.
She is survived by children, Candelario (Mague) Hinojosa, Antonio Hinojosa, Jesus Hinojosa, Celia (Tony) Singleterry, Alicia Hinojosa, 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, daughter-in-law, Julia Hinojosa, son-in-law, Naeem Patel.
Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Guardian funeral home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
Graveside services and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2013 at Seaside Memorial Park.
