Rita Robertson Blalock, 92, was born on May 27, 1924 and passed away December 9, 2016.Rita was a past worthy matron of OSO #868, past Queen of Elidad Temple #134, and Daughters of the Nile where she was a member for 38 years. She was a member of South Shore Christian Church and also volunteered at Doctor's Regional Hospital for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Jack Blalock, her parents Jesse and Blanche Robertson, and brother E.T. Robertson. She is survived by daughter Rita Myers, granddaughter Jessica Myers, and nephew Jack E. Robertson. Memorial service will be held on Saturday January 7, 2017 at 1:00 PM at South Shore Christian Church located at 4710 S Alameda in Corpus Christi.
