We are terribly saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Richard Watson at the age of 39.

Richard was born on January 31, 1982 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to Richard A. Watson and Manuela Spradlin (Kitterman).

Richard had an amazing love for life. He enjoyed traveling, music, nature, women and wouldn't shy away from the occasional drink. He lived by his own rules and respected freedom at its core. Richard was a very hard worker and someone a person would be proud to call friend.

Richard is predeceased by his parents, Richard and Manuela; paternal grandparents, Nancy and Alfred Watson; maternal grandparents, Louis and Christel Kitterman; and niece, Trinity Kitterman.

He is survived by his daughter, Caitlyn Watson; sister, Tyra Watson and husband Adam Gamble; brother, Shawn Kitterman and wife Jamie Kitterman; nieces, Chevy; Addison; Olivia; and nephews: Jaxon, Elijah; as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
