Obituary

Ricardo R Ozuna, passed away in his home, on May 2, 2017 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born in Del Rio, Texas on September 16, 1951 to Alfonso Sr and Dora Ozuna.
He graduated from Texas A&I University in Kingsville as a Chemical Engineer. He was employed by Citgo for 26 years, retiring as a Process Control Engineer. Church Unlimited was his church home where he volunteered as an usher. He was a loving father who always put his children's needs above his own. That love and care was also provided to anyone in his extended family who was in need. He was constantly there to give us all strength and guidance. A love for music lead him to be in a band that he wanted to call "The Cool Pops," or "Pico de Guy-O." He loved to play his guitars and enjoyed woodworking in his garage. He will always be admired for his self-sacrificing nature, his incredible love, his sense of humor, and devotion to his family.
Rick leaves behind, to cherish his memories, his son, Jason Dax Ozuna, his two daughters, Mandy Jean Rodriguez and husband J. Joshua Rodriguez, and Erika Denise Indridson and husband Nick Lee Indridson, his brother, Alfonso Ozuna Jr, his sisters, Margaret Sauceda and Norma Garza, and four grandchildren, Marcus Anthony Rodriguez, William Pierce Rodriguez, Ryan Magnus Indridson and Layla Harper Indridson. He is preceded in death by his parents Alfonso Sr and Dora Ozuna.

A Memorial will be held at Guardian Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.
