Obituary
Ricardo Guevara, 48, beloved brother, was called by our Heavenly Father on October 7, 2016. He was born on August 5, 1968 in Pensacola, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents Gilberto & Rosa Guevara.
He is survived by his son Eddie Guevara and sisters; Marta Guevara, Amanda Rocha, Alma Guevara, Linda Kelly (Warren), a niece Rosalinda Rocha and two nephews; Joseph L. Rosas and Daniel M. Rocha.
Ricardo was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Pensacola, FL. Upon graduation he immediately entered the military serving his country proudly in the United States Air Force.
He was a civil service employee for many years at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma until he obtained his dream profession as an Electrical Technician for the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
His interests included: aviation, travel, spending time with family and friends, reading and genuinely helping others.
A Holy Rosary in his honor will be recited at Guardian Funeral Home Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 7 p.m. with the family visitation beginning at 3 p.m.
A Mass will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. with interment to follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m
