Ricardo Castillo, (Uncle Ricky, Richard), 58, of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away on February 27, 2016.
A service of remembrance/celebration of life, will be held at Guardian Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 5922 Crosstown, Corpus Christi, TX., on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Family visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m at Guardian
Ricardo was born in Corpus Christi, TX on May 9, 1956 to Ramon Castillo and Maria Dora Trevino Castillo. Ricardo is preceded in death by his parents.
Ricardo worked as a Patient Transporter for Nova Medical Center for 2 years and CCISD for 5 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, making knives for family & friends, wood carving, making dream catchers, and attending pow wows.
Ricardo is lovingly remembered by his wife, Leola V. Harkless-Castillo, two sons, Marcus (Susan) Castillo of San Antonia, TX., Michael (Ashley) Castillo, Corpus Christi, Tx, one daughter, Marie Elizabeth Castillo, one grandson, Andres Castillo, his brother John (Denise) Castillo of Corpus Christi, TX; One Aunt, Lillie Trevino DeAses, Corpus Christi; two stepsons Darriel (Erika) Harkless; Melvin P. Jones, Auburn, AL., two stepdaughters, Chesnie (Martez) Harkless, Auburn, AL and Paquita Harkless, Rockport, Tx., and one stepgranddaughter, Maria M. Simmons., two sisters-in-law, Doris Houseton, Corpus Christi, Delores Harkless, Tuskegee, AL; 11 brothers-in-law, a host of nephews and nieces and other family and friends.
He shared a loving friendship with his brothers in Law, Larry Harkless, St. Stephens,AL, Willie Harkless, New Orleans, LA and Melvin Harkless of Port Arthur, TX and Sister-in-law, Doris Houseton, and one special daughter, Melinda Lenard.
The family of Ricardo Castillo wishes to thank all of his family and friends who touched his life in a special way.
