It's with heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Rhoda Ann Heider Marshall at the age of 63. She has been called home to rest in the arms of our Heavenly Father in Heaven on January 31, 2025 after a battle of Kidney disease for many years. She was born in Corpus Christi Texas on November 7, 1961 to Norbert and Elizabeth Heider Jr.
Rhoda attended Tuloso Midway School. In 1977 Rhoda moved to Eight Mile Alabama with her father. In 1980 she graduated from Satsuma High School in Satsuma Alabama. Shortly after graduation she moved back to Corpus Christi, Texas. Married Robert Marshall on May 6, 1981. They had three daughters together Shythina, Elizabeth and Jessica Marshall. Rhoda dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was kindhearted, put others before herself, she loved to laugh and always had a smile on her face even when she wasn't feeling well.
Rhoda is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Norbert A. (Dutch) and Irene Heider Sr.; her maternal grandparents, Micheal E. and Mary Y. Cassidy Sr. Parents, Norbert A. Heider Jr. and Elizabeth Ann Cobb. Uncles: Ken Heider and Micheal Cassidy Jr. Cousins: Micheal Cassidy III, Cindy Cassidy, Sean Cassidy and Perry T. Baily.
She is survived by her brother, Allen Heider of Corpus Christi TX, sister, Kathleen (Katy) Cano (Daniel) of Sulphur LA, brother, Norbert (Trace) Heider (Tammy) of Magnolia, TX Children: daughter, Shythina Marshall of Corpus Christi TX, daughter, Elizabeth Jackson (Roland) of Corpus Christi TX, daughter, Jessica Marshall (David Withite) of Corpus Christi TX. Grandchildren: Blake Marshall, Troy Green (Jessica), Dalton Marshall, Dominick Marshall, Rogelio Duran, Damian Duran, JaKobe Jackson, and Maserati Jackson. Great-grandchildren: Troy Green, Coraline Green, and Messiah Marshall. Aunt Frances Heider Hopkins (Wade) of Huntsville AL and Aunt Mary Frances Cassidy Pappey (Fred) of Rockport TX and numerous of nephews and nieces.
We know she is at peace in Heaven, surrounded by love. She will always be loved and deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 6630 Woolridge Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78414 on February 23, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.
