Reynaldo Barron, Sr. of Corpus Christi, Texas was called home by his Heavenly Father on December 26, 2020 at the age of 74. He was surrounded by his devoted wife and loving family.
Reynaldo was preceded in death by his parents: Raul and Porfiria Barron of Brownsville, TX; his brothers: Ricky Vasquez and Ramiro Barron of Corpus Christi, TX; grandson: Jaylen Ray Cook of Round Rock, TX and great grandson: Easton James Solis of Corpus Christi, TX.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Angelita Perez Barron of Corpus Christi, TX; his sons: Jesse Barron (Aurora), Ruben (Judy) Barron, both of Corpus Christi, TX, and Reynaldo (Felicita) Barron, Jr. of Round Rock, TX; granddaughters: Laura Villanueva, Jessica V. Quintero, and Brianna Barron (Edgar) all of Corpus Christi, TX; grandsons: Julian Elias (Dayana) Cook of Temple, TX, Reynaldo Barron, III, Luke Andrew Barron, Samuel Jax Barron, and Jude Robert Barron, all of Round Rock TX; great-grandsons: Trey Gonzalez, Joseph Quintero, and Izaiah Solis all of Corpus Christi, TX; and great-granddaughter: Camila Jay Cook of Temple TX; his siblings: Raul Barron of Brownsville, TX, Bobby Vasquez, Irma (Ruben) Marroquin, Lidia (Tony) Vela, all of Corpus Christi, TX and Ida Berkenmeier of Houston, TX; along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended members of the family whom he loved.
Funeral services are as follows, with burial immediately after.
Visitation will begin 9 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2020 at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown, Corpus Christi TX, 78417, followed by recitation of the Holy Rosary at 11:30 a.m. and ending with a few words about the life of Mr. Barron.
Reynaldo will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. Corpus Christi TX 78415 following funeral home chapel service. Reception to follow at Guardian Hall. 5813 Ayers.
Pallbearers will be nephews: Benny Vela, Roland Vela, Danny Vela, Edward Barron, and Edward Barron Cantu, and Carlos Vela. Honorary pallbearer grandson: Reynaldo Barron III
