Reynaldo (Rey) Ramirez, 57, went to be with his Lord and heavenly family on October 10, 2023. He was born on July 27, 1966, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Reynaldo and Judy Ramirez. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed. Rey enjoyed spending time with his family, music, and bbqing. Anyone that knew Rey, knew that he loved the Dallas Cowboys and never missed watching a game.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Reynaldo and Judy Ramirez; and his son, Reynaldo Rodriguez.

He is survived by his wife, Christina Ramirez; children, Jessica C. Rodriguez, Robert Rodriguez, Jennifer Pena (Jack), Vincent Lopez, Marc Ramirez (Caroline); Marc Guardiola (Sammi), Maegan Garza (Gabriel), Kristen Hernandez (Jay), Renegade Rodriguez; his sisters, Norma Ramirez-Guartuche (Ernest), Elma Ramiez; his mother in law, Raquel Ybarra; his brother and sister in law, Sylvia (Ruben) Torres, Ambrosio (Lori) Ybarra. He was the proud Popo of thirty-three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was loved and adored by his nieces and nephews, Ryan Hatton, Crystal Manzano (Moises), Elizabeth Neeley, Jacob Longoria, David Estrada (Katharine), Salvador Sanchez; and numerous relatives and friends.

Please wear Dallas Cowboy colors and clothing to honor and celebrate Rey's life.

The family will begin to receive friends and family on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Guardian Funeral Home- 5922 Crosstown, Corpus Christi, Texas 78417 from 3:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer service to be held at 6:30 p.m. A reception will follow at the Guardian hall, 5813 Ayers
