Rex Ward Hull, 82, passed away at his home on June 27, 2015. He was born In Pottsboro, Texas on August 20, 1932 and graduated from Pottsboro High School in 1950. Rex was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army for three years,
He was preceded in death by his father John Bill Hull and his mother Myrtle Hull
Rex was a terminal manager for Groendyke Transport in Duncan Oklahoma for many years. He later moved to Corpus Christi and served as Operations Manager for The Transport Company of Texas for over 30 years.
Rex was a licensed ham-radio operator, a hobby which he really enjoyed. He also loved playing tennis and watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. But his love of family was the most important thing to him and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kathleen Hull, three daughters, Deborah Hull, Sharon Ensminger (George) and Paula Mourelatos , (John) Son, Ronald Hull (Kay) , two stepdaughters, Michelle Pettis and Lori Dallava and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation service on Tuesday, June 30th at Guardian Funeral Home from 5PM to 7PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 1st at 10 AM at the Guardian Funeral Home Chapel with Ken DeKoning officiating. Burial will follow at Seaside Cemetery.
