Reuben M. Zulaica passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 2, 2022; marking his 72nd birthday.

He was born in Florence, Arizona to his parents Raymundo and Anita Zulaica on May 2, 1950.

A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Reuben proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He continued to serve through civil service, retiring from the Corpus Christi Army Depot. The love that he blessed our family with will live on for years to come.

Reuben is preceded in death by his parents: Raymundo and Anita Zulaica; son: Reuben Zulaica, Jr.

He leaves behind to cherish these memories, his wife: Florenia C. Zulaica; son: Robert (Paulina) Zulaica; brother: Richard Zulaica; stepchildren: Elena Marmolejo, Diana Bradish, Claudia Prado, Francisco Xavier Prado; Grandchildren: Astrid Riojas, Chelsey Zulaica, Jennifer Riojas, Alejandro Prado, Andrea Prado, Princess Stewart, Andrik Rodriguez, Ashley Prado, Angel Stewart, Luis Castañeda, Ryder Bradish, Leonardo Castañeda, Jett Bradish; great-grandchildren: Jesus Rosales. All funeral services will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 ; public visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A, with a Holy Rosary and Catholic Chapel Service to be held at 12:00 p.m. that afternoon. Burial with full military honors will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery. Funeral Procession will depart from Guardian FH at 1:15 p.m.
