Obituary

It is with great heartfelt sadness that the family of Raymundo Rodarte Lazcano announce his peaceful passing of natural causes as he's answered his call to Heaven at the age of 89 on the evening of Monday, December 21st, 2020.

Raymundo was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on September 29th, 1931 to the late Emma Rodarte and Narciso Lazcano. He was their only son. During the span of his life Raymundo worked mostly for the Mexican government and after bringing his family to the United States for a better life, he added insurance salesman and meat processor, among other titles, to help support and take care of his family's needs. He enjoyed always helping and spending time with his large family and never refused a bar-b-que. He loved to travel and was always a jokester in making sure to show off his silly faces during picture time.

Raymundo's memory will live on and be lovingly remembered by his four sons and two daughters, Mike of Harlingen Tx, Martin (Liz) of Dallas, TX, Raul (Rosie) of Pharr, TX, Luis (Cindy) and Marta Aoshima of Corpus Christi, TX, and Gracie Avelar of Houston, TX. He will be fondly remembered for his family devotion and being a loving husband to Isabel Medrano Lazcano, a father to 9 boys and 2 girls, a grandfather to over 28 grandkids, a great grandfather to over 66 great grandkids, and a great great grandfather to over 10 great great grandkids. He was preceeded in death by his wife Isabel and five sons Fidel, Ernesto, David, Mario and Ralph.

Our God has called up one of our most precious family pieces, he will be missed by everyone but we know that he is in Heaven with our other family members and friends rejoicing in eternal peace and happiness. Till we meet again Lazcano!
