Mr. Raymond Lyle Fleck, 74, passed away on October 20, 2022.

He attended Roy Miller High School. He received his Bachelor's Degree at Arizona State University and his Master's Degree at the University of Texas A&M - Corpus Christi. He was an educator for thirty-five years; teaching Middle School History and Math. Raymond was a veteran in the United States Army where he would serve his 2 yr. term in Italy. He and Lydia married in 1987. They were married 32 years. In the time they were married, he devoted his time to his family. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Raymond was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather to his wife of 32 years, Lydia Fleck; daughters: Allison Garcia (Pete), Natalie Nunez (Alexandra); grandsons: Jacob Anthony Gomez, Justin Robert Gomez, Eric Garcia, Steven Garcia and Andrew Garcia; along with numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, especially when it came to playing jokes and pranks on all of them. He was a strong mentor in all of their lives.

As a retired educator the foundation and principles of education were embedded deep in his heart. As he loved to read, he also believed it was very important for kids to read, so for this reason, they always knew they would be gifted books from Uncle Raymond at Christmas time.

Raymond loved to travel and visit new places, and always loved taking the "scenic routes," as he would call them. He had a love for nature and enjoyed working in his yard completing various landscaping projects. He also loved his fur grand-babies: Luna, Maddie, Lady, and Chewy.

When it came to his family, Raymond would go to any lengths to provide for them and help out when needed. He was always the first person to step up and offer a helping hand. He set forth the prime example of what a true father and grandfather should be; instilling strong values and a hard work ethic that have helped shape the lives of his children and grandchildren.

Raymond is also survived by his brother, Amos Fleck and sister Charlene Fleck.

He is preceded in death by his father, William (Bill) Fleck, mother Mona Fae Alam Fleck and brother Joe Fleck.

Although we bid farewell to a wonderful man; the memories we were blessed to share with him will resonate in our hearts for generations to come. He was deeply loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Memorial services to celebrate Raymond's life will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel ''A".
