Randy Villarreal, 58, passed away on June 14, 2025, in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Randy was born in Alice, Texas on July 19, 1966, to Rodolfo "Rudy" and Hilia (Ramos) Villarreal. He grew up in Corpus Christi, graduating from Foy H. Moody High School in 1984. From there, Randy held various jobs, ranging from construction to contract work. He was highly-skilled at landscaping, repairing and painting houses.
Randy enjoyed the outdoors. He was an experienced angler, catching a variety of fish and had a green thumb for growing all kinds of flowers and plants for his parents and their neighbors. He loved to barbecue and cook a lot of Tex-Mex dishes. Randy was a metalhead, usually jamming out to the likes of Saxon, Iron Maiden, and Scorpions. He enjoyed watching baseball, even playing as a child for the American Little League.
Above all else, Randy was very dedicated to his family. He cared for his mother and father all his life, becoming their caretaker and tending to them. He was a loving brother, uncle, and cousin, most remembered for being very witty and outspoken. He was passionate in what he believed in. Randy was a family man, always checking up on his nephews, niece, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Rodolfo "Rudy" Villarreal. He is survived by his mother, Hilia R. Villarreal; his four brothers, Rudy Jr. (Dee Dee), Joe (Irma), Adolph (Dolores), and Luis (Laura); his nephews and niece, Rudy III, Justin, Joey, Arlene, Aaron, and John Lucas; and
numerous great nephews and nieces.
