Ramona Castillo, 87, entered eternal rest on October 14, 2016. Ramona was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 31, 1929 to Felix and Jovita Moreno. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benito Castillo.  She is survived by her children, David Najera (Jeanette), Manuelita Garza (Candelario), Marty Najera, and Christina Garza. Her sisters, Terry Bocanegra, Rosa Torres, Canda Diaz, and Lupe Almos; brother, Juan Diaz; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

The Family will start accepting visitors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 18, 2016 at Guardian Funeral Home. A Holy Rosary will be recited on Tuesday October 18, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday October 19, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Our lady of Pilar Catholic Church, with interment to follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
