IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ramona
Aguilar
July 28, 1955 – February 28, 2019
Ramona Aguilar went to be with Our Lord on February 28, 2019 at the age of 63.
She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to her loving parents Juan and Josephine Q. Martinez on July 28, 1955.
She would graduate from Roy Miller High School as a proud Buccaneer in the Class of 1974; taking great interest in
the art of cosmetology.
Right here in Corpus Christi, she would meet and marry, the love of her life, Alfredo Humberto Aguilar. From this Holy Union, now together as one, would bring to life their daughter Crystal Marie Aguilar. The pride and joy of her life. Ramona dedicated her life to her faith and her family. Her trust in God was unwavering; even in the face of many trials. She in turn, taught her daughter to have a firm faith in God, to be strong, loyal, independent and caring. She was very much an angel on earth; she would volunteer with many charities helping the sick and elderly, she dedicated her time and energy to serving the needy and homeless at her local food bank. For those she could not help physically, she would battle for them spirituality as prayer warrior. The family is at peace knowing Ramona understood and believed in the promise of an everlasting life in heaven. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend; now our Guardian Angel. Her beautiful spirit will live on forever.
She is preceded in death by her siblings: Abel Quintanilla, Humberto Quintanilla (Yolanda), Pauline Infante; and both of her parents.
Ramona leaves behind, to cherish her memories, her husband Alfredo Aguilar; daughter Crystal Marie Marquez (Roland); grandchildren: Alexa Marquez, Roland Marquez, Jr.; siblings: Eloisa Morales (George), Cleotilde Gonzalez (Joe Rocha), Hector Martinez (Beatrice), Eddie Martinez (Diana), Willie Martinez (Alma), David Quintanilla (Gracie); numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly as her own.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Home Friday, March 8, with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 7 p.m. that evening.
