With deep love and heavy hearts, the family of Ramon Pantoja announces his peaceful passing on November 15, 2025, as he entered the gates of heaven. Born on July 14, 1947, Ramon lived a long, full, and meaningful life—one defined by faith, family, and unwavering strength.
Ramon was a proud veteran who bravely served his country in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War. After returning home, he dedicated 35 years of hard work and loyalty to Exxon, where he built lifelong friendships and left an impact through his commitment and integrity.
A devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle, Ramon's greatest joy in life was his family. He shared 44 beautiful years of marriage with his loving wife, Maria C. Pantoja, with whom he enjoyed countless memories—especially dancing together at the Sunset Rodeo, a pastime that always filled their hearts with joy. He is survived by his wife Maria, his son Xenos Pantoja, and his siblings Robert, Gilbert, Ray, Rene, Janie, and Linda, all of whom he cherished deeply.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Adan and Francisca Pantoja, his son Carlos Pantoja, and his brother Adan Pantoja.
Ramon lived a life rich with laughter, hardships, love, and faith. His experiences shaped him into a remarkable man—strong, compassionate, and devoted. He loved deeply, especially his family and his beloved wife, with whom he shared a bond that was admired by all who knew them.
His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him. Ramon will forever be remembered for his gentle spirit, his resilience, his love for family, and the beautiful life he built. His final resting place will be at the VA Cemetery, where he will be honored for his life, service, and the impact he made on those around him.
May he rest in eternal peace.
Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Holy rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Guardian funeral home starting at 9:30 a.m. with the funeral procession to depart at 11:30 a.m. for a 12:00 noon Funeral Mass at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church 3502 Saratoga Blvd. Burial with full military honors will follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
