IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ramon Vargas,
Iii
May 11, 1962 – May 7, 2019
Ramon Vargas, III passed away on May 7, 2019 at the age of 56.
He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Eleanor and Ramon Vargas, Jr. on May 11, 1962.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend; now our Guardian Angel.
Ramon devoted his life to his family. With a profound faith in God, he taught his daughters to always trust in His plan, to be strong, loyal, independent and caring. He was an amazing father, who would drop anything to ensure his babies knew they were loved. As a husband, he gave his wife strength and stability, doing everything in his power to provide not only the necessary items, but also every want. Ramon was well known for his humorous personality and his contagious laugh, always with a smile on his face and a joke on his lips. He had a passion for many things but his greatest interest was in old school cars and classic rock music. Ramon expressed each day of his life that one of his greatest joys were his granddaughters, the unconditional love he had for each of them is a bond that will never be broken. We say he lived his best life through them; sharing music, laughter, and dancing. The wonderful memories he created will live on in our hearts, forever.
He joins now in heaven, his mother Eleanor Vargas.
Ramon leaves behind to cherish his memories, father Ramon Vargas, Jr.; his devoted wife of 35 years Sonia Vargas; daughter Marissa Vargas and son-in-law Jose Cervantez, daughter Clarissa Vargas and son-in-law Edward Cano, Jr.; grand-daughters: Elliana Cano, Gabriella Cano and Audrina Cano; siblings: Diana (Bart) Martinez, Tina Vargas, Lee Ann Vargas, Shane Vargas; sisters-in-law: Melinda (Luis) Garza, Melissa Hinojosa, Letty (Barlow) Arriola, Veronica (Jose) Uribe, Sandra Perez; brothers-in-law Ignacio (Karen) Perez, Armando (Janie) Perez; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he cherished.
