Ramiro Rafael Rodriguez, Sr. passed away on June 3, 2022 at his home in Missouri City, Texas at the age of 71.

He was born in San Benito, Texas on August 4, 1950 to his parents Gilbert and Olivia Rodriguez.

A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many is now at rest. It is nearly impossible to capture such a great life in only a few words. The love which he gave to his entire family speaks the loudest. An abundance of memories were made through the years; a life filled with much laughter and great joy, precious moments of visiting his family in Corpus Christi or hunting and fishing, two past-times that he loved. The strength which he left embedded in our hearts will live on for generations to come.

He joins now in heaven both of his parents and nine siblings.

Ramiro is survived by his devoted wife Clementina "Tina" Rodriguez with whom he shared over 50 years of marriage; their children: Christina Gonzalez (Jesus), Veronica Rodriguez (Aaron), Ruben Rodriguez, Ramiro Rafael Rodriguez, Jr. (Angie); three sisters; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he loved.

Public visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Guardian Funeral Home - Corpus Christi.

A Chapel Service will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Guardian Funeral Home with the Burial to follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m. that afternoon.
