Ralph Edward Morgan, 81, of Corpus Christi passed away on February 19, 2026, at his home with his family by his side. Born on February 19, 1945, at General Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he was the youngest of five children. He attended vocational high school and graduated in 1965. From there, he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam war and received high marksmanship scores while training others in riflery. Upon his return he married and had three children: Scott, Lisa, and Daniel. Later in life he reconnected with his daughter Jessica. Ralph then married his high school sweetheart, Jeannie, and together they made a home in Ham Lake, Minnesota. He loved his family and enjoyed hunting, fishing, rock collecting, and being outdoors. He ran nineteen marathons, including Grandma;s Marathon in Duluth, the Twin Cities Marathon, and the Chicago Marathon. He retired to Corpus Christi, Texas, and spent many days fishing and looking for seashells at Bob Hall Pier and the wonderful beaches.
He was preceded in death by his parents James and Teresa, his son Daniel, his brothers, James, Donald, and John, and his sister, Alice. He is survived by his wife Jeannie; children Scott (Christina), Lisa, and Jessica; stepchildren Daniel (Mary), Matthew, and Christopher (Deborah); grandchildren, Clare (Lisa), Emma, Cade, and Luke (Scott), Daniel Jr. (Daniel), Jacob and Olivia (Matthew), and Benjamin (Christopher); as well as many loving nieces, nephews and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held on March 13th at Galilean Lutheran Church at 12:30pm and the interment will follow at 2pm at The Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
