Rachel Villarreal passed away on August 7, 2024 at the age of 63. Born on March 17,1961 in Corpus Christi and raised by Salvador and Esperanza Rodriguez. Rachel attended W.B. Ray Highschool, She was a loving wife mother and friend. She was a caregiver and an active memeber of Segunda Inglesia Bautista where she volunterred, taught and participated in womens bible studies. She left behind the love of her life Gilberto , her daughter Sara Ann and three grandchildren: Jayda Hope, Kane Mercy, and Charles Matthew Rivers. Rachel was the youngest of eleven children and is survived by her sisters Melinda Daniels, Bertha Ponce, Johanna Garcia, Sylvia Ramon, and her brothers Larry (Becky), Sal Jr.(Becky), Leo Rodriguez, and Uncles and Aunts Noel wife Mary Leal, Paul wife MaryAnn Calandres and Juan Calandres as well as numerous nieces and nephews.   Rachel is preceded in death by her parents Salvador and Esperanza Rodriguez including siblings Jan Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez, Ofelia Chapa and neice Lisa Rodriguez.

All Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 , public visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown, with the Chapel Service to be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. with the Funeral Procession to depart the Funeral Home at 1:15 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. Burial in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Rd.
