In Loving Memory Of
Princess Jennifer Luckey Batts was born on July 12, 1975, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late Herman Luckey and Bernie Faye Luckey. At an early age, she accepted Christ and was baptized at St. John Baptist Church, where her faith journey began.
Princess attended West Oso High School in Corpus Christi and later earned her GED in Jacksonville, Florida, demonstrating her determination and commitment to her personal growth.
In April 2006, she was united in marriage to Andre Batts. Although their marriage later ended in divorce, they remained close friends, sharing a lasting bond of respect and care.
Princess was known for her loving heart, caring spirit, and vibrant sense of humor. She was a devoted sister, friend, and aunt to many. Her free-spirited nature and warm personality meant she never met a stranger, no matter the state or country life took her.
On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, Princess Jennifer Lucky Batts departed this life at Spohn South Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Bennie Faye Luckey; her sisters, Jeannie Luckey Price and Hynderia “Celia” Gammon; and her brothers, Dwayne, Shasta, and Anthony Luckey.
She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings: Willie (Raye) Luckey of Dallas, Texas; Schygen (Sonya) Luckey of Bastrop, Texas; Pamela Luckey; Jacqueline “Tina” Luckey; April “Jojo” Hasting; Tiffany Luckey; and Jabalia “Robin” Luckey. She is lovingly remembered by her special uncle and aunt, Emmett (Annie Jean) Goss of Gary, Texas, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Andre “Dre” Batts, Latera “Quite Storm” Crenshaw, Judy “Bright Eyes” Riley, and the Motorcycle Club Group Riders for their love, support, and kindness.
Princess will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Service Information
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2nd at Guardian Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
