IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Phillip
Valls
March 29, 1967 – January 31, 2026
Whether casting his line at his favorite fishing spot or sharing stories "the one that got away," Phillip lived for the water. He believed that a bad day of of fishing was better than a good day at work, and he taught his family and friends to appreciate that beauty of nature. Phillip was a true expert of the waters, often found with his lure and a warm smile. He treasured the quiet moments, but even more he loved teaching the next generation how to cast a line and, perhaps more importantly, how to bait a hook.
Phillip was known by many for his "get it done" attitude. He spent three decades working at F & W Electric Contractors, Inc., where his resilience and commitment to quality was unmatched. Phillip believed that if a job was worth doing it was worth doing it right. He was a person of his word, valuing, honesty and hard work above all else. He was preceded in death by Parents Arnold and Maria Valls, sibling, Veronica and Karlus Valls and Arnold Valls, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Magdalena "Maggie", his children, Elisa and Emily, step-children, Malachi Oder-Kies, Alejandro Longoria, and Samantha Longoria, grandson Santiago G. Valls, surviving siblings Stephen (Ellen) Valls, Jerry (Crystal) Valls, Rose Valls Boudreaux and Cynthia Valls, and numerous nieces & nephews.
He loved to laugh and joking with his friends and family. With his dedicatoin, caring and giving soul, he touched the lives of many. As we say good bye to Phillip, we celebrate his life and cherish the stories we share. He was a remarkable man who will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is now at peace in the arms of his Savior.
