Peggy Brittain, 87, passed away March 25, 2021. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 12, 1933. Peggy graduated from Corpus Christi high school class of 1950 and attended Del Mar College, and she worked for Corpus Christi Police Dept. in central records and CCAD retiring in 2000. She was  a member of the Womens Business Association and was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ. Peggy loved playing bunco with friends, baking for family, neighbors and friends, everyone looked forward to her visits she never came empty handed and she loved her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, William (Slim) Davenport and Edrie Garrett Davenport, and her husband, Bob Brittain, brothers, and sisters, Jerry, Mary Jane, Nancy and Johnny. She is survived by six children, Bobby of St. Paul, Tx., Billy (Melanie) of Corpus Christi, Tx., Betty Jo (BJ) Gregg of Corpus Christi,Tx, Roger (Jolene) of Corpus Christi, Tx., John (Sherry) of Lexington, Tx, Wesley (Tina) of Rockport, Tx, grandchildren, Paul and Sharon, Dave, Jamie, Stephen, Scott, Emily, Jeremy, Phillip and Shai, twent-five great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren and many beloved friends.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens cemetery 8200 Old Brownsville Rd. with Pastor David Sygly officiating.
