Pedro G. Mercado went to be with Our lord and Savior on February 10, 2016. Pedro was born in Premont, Texas on December 4, 1936 to Apolonio and Rosa Mercado. Pedro is preceded in death by his parents, children: Luis, Sylvia, Diana, Pete Jr., brothers: Guillermo, Guadalupe, sister: Alejandra Garcia.
Pedro is survived by his children: Rose (Troy) Nelson, Manuel Mercado, Mary Rios , sisters: Bertha Garcia, Santos Mercado, Maria Luisa Alaniz, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Holy Rosary will be recited at Guardian Funeral Home on Friday February 12, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday February 13, 2016 at SS Cyril Methodius Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Seaside Cemetery
