Pedro Gabriel Ballin, 78, peacefully entered the presence of the Lord on Friday, April 22, 2016, surrounded by loved ones. Pedro was born to Gabriel S. and Tibercia Ballin, on October 19, 1937 in Corpus Christi, Texas, where he lived his life.
Pedro, also known as "Bole", graduated from Corpus Christi High School in 1957. After completing high school, he enlisted with the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, he went to work for Gulf Compress for over 30 years as a cotton warehouse operator. His most recent employment before retirement was with Rose Hill Cemetery.
Some of Pedro's favorite pastimes were fishing, going to the movies, watching the Cowboys, and taking drives along the bayfront. He also enjoyed dining at U & I Restaurant. Buccaneer Days was always anticipated as he enjoyed the thrill of the rides and trying his luck at the billiards game.
His passion for life and adventure never diminished. It didn't matter where the road led him. He was always ready "to go".
