Ms. Pauline Powell Guinn, 89 years of age went home to be with the Lord on November 22, 2022 surrounded by those who loved her. She was born on March 5, 1933 Coal County in Oklahoma.  She attended elementary school at Nixon Elementary and graduated from Centrahoma High School in Oklahoma. After Highschool she attended beauty school in Ada, Oklahoma.

Pauline spent her younger years working as a beautician in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a housewife raising her only daughter and also volunteered at Memorial Medical Center. She later worked at the Nueces County Courthouse as the Court Clerk of the 214th District Court until her retirement. After retirement Pauline volunteered at Christus Spohn Hospital Shoreline for many years.

Pauline loved working in her yard and feeding her birds everyday. She loved driving her Camaro all over town going to garage sales. Pauline loved dancing and music especially her cousin's bluegrass band. She was a regular mall walker five days a week. Pauline also was a regular at Garden Senior Citizen Center. Pauline was also a Parishioner at St. Pius X Catholic Church attending mass every Sunday at 5:30pm.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Eva (Karr) Powell, brothers Warren, Raymond and Floyd Powell, sisters, Mary Fullingim, Mona Lay, Jean Jinkins.

She is survived by her daughter, Gigi Guinn of Corpus Christi, Texas , and her brother, John Powell of Colgate, Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Texas, Oklahoma and Arizona. Pauline also leaves behind many dear friends.

A Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church 5629 Gollihar Rd., Corpus Christi Tx 78411 on Saturday, December 3, 2022.
